The construction of The Wilmore is rooted in a modern vision of a mixed-use project guided by long-term sustainability. In addition, more than 90 Universal Design Attributes contribute to making the building more comfortable for people with disabilities.

  • Lever handle hardware on all doors
  • Open floor plans with accessible bamboo flooring and tight weave carpet
  • Single lever lavatory faucet in bathroom and kitchen
  • General, indirect and task-specific lighting
  • Light switches at entrance of every room mounted 40 inches above the floor
  • Main viewing sills are no higher than 26 inches from the floor
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors with visual and audible alarms
